Volunteer Days
The Lions In Sight warehouse is open for volunteers on the following days each month (verify dates and times here):

1st Thursday of the month 5:00-9:00 PM

3rd Thursday of the month 5:00-9:00 PM
-
4th Wednesday of the month 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
A complimentary light meal is provided on the days above.
Volunteers are welcome to bring family and friends to help.
Please sign in when you arrive.
If your club or organization would like to volunteer, please contact us to schedule a visit. LIS will try to accommodate the date and time you specify.
Volunteer Responsibilities
There are various jobs available for volunteers such as:

Sorting incoming glasses by type of frame

Unwrapping eyeglasses sent to LIS by eyeglass manufacturers

Sorting over-the-counter ‘reading’ glasses

Determining eyeglass prescriptions using a lensometer (requires training)

Filing eyeglasses for clinics (requires training)
